Course Description

The Certificate IV in Accounting is both useful and practical for it will provide you with basic accounting skills and train you to use computer systems in the accounting sector. You will learn how to complete BAS statements, produce management reports, and become familiar with accounts payable and receivable functions. You will be provided relevant information, case studies, discussions and assessments to enable you to be able to apply your skills to work in varied roles such as a bookkeeper, accounts clerk, trainee accountant or payroll clerk.

Entry Requirements

In order to gain entry into this course, the potential student must:

  • Be 18 years of age or over
  • Have satisfactorily completed Year 11 in an Australian High School (or equivalent), and
  • Have an IELTS band score of 5.5 or TOEFL 500 (or equivalent)

Learning Pathway

After achieving the FNS40215 Certificate IV in Accounting, students may under take arrange of Diploma level qualifications within the FNS Financial Services Training Package or other Training Packages.
