COURSE DESCRIPTION

FNS50615 Diploma of Financial Planning aims to provide competencies in Financial Planning enabling candidates to assist clients to identify financial goals and priorities, assess their current financial situation, tailor financial planning to meet their needs and to proactively identify ongoing service options for clients by researching and recommending financial products.

 

In order to gain entry into this course, the potential student must:
● Be 18 years of age or over
● Have satisfactorily completed Year 11 in the Australian High School (or equivalent), and
● Have an IELTS band score of minimum 5.5 or TOEFL 500 (or equivalent)

Applicants preferably have completed any Certificate FNS qualification or other relevant Certificate or demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments in financial services roles, including planner or analyst.

Successful graduates of FNS50615 Diploma of Financial Planning may continue to study FNS60410 Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning at Wentworth Institute.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING & RECOGNITION OF CURRENT COMPETENCY

Students can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)/ Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) before they commence the course or a particular unit.
