Paul Cleveland

Professor Cleveland’s research interests include the evolution of design style, design archaeology and interactive mapping systems. He is a member of the Australian Graphic Design Association and a Fellow of the Design Institute of Australia. He is well recognized by practitioners in the discipline for both his wide knowledge of theory and practical application of multimedia mediums.
Professor Cleveland, as the Chair of the Academic Board, provides a high level of academic leadership in the delivery and continuing development of the Bachelor of Interactive Media here at the Wentworth Institute.

Dennis Mortimer

Dennis Mortimer is the Head Lecturer for the Bachelor of Business degree at WIN. Dennis has over thirty years experience in academic teaching, research and management including teaching in both Australia and overseas. Working with the Dean, his responsibility is the academic standards, quality, and work relevance of the Bachelor of Business program.

Dr. Keri Spooner is Dean of Higher Education at WIN. With many years experience in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Australia and abroad, Keri works with higher education academics and students at WIN to ensure the delivery of a quality, industry relevant education.

Sue is the secretary at Wentworth Institute of Higher Education. Sue has had had many years of experience in tertiary education in senior administrative roles in a wide range of areas including student administration, student advising, academic services, research and offshore programs.
Sue is the co-author of 6 refereed journal articles and 13 conference papers and was secretary and treasurer of two academic associations for over 15 years.

Karen Audley

Director of Teaching and Learning, Accreditation Coordinator

A certified member of the Australian Institute of Human Resources, Karen has a Masters Degree in Employment Relations and undergraduate degrees in both Arts and Science. Having taught with Wentworth Institute of Higher Education since 2016 and with over 20 years experience in HR and Operations Management, Karen is a knowledgeable lecturer able to apply both academic theory and practice within the class room. A seasoned executive who has worked for a large private company employing over 190,000 team members, Karen brings a diverse range of skills and experience in the areas of Change Management (both technological change and cultural change), Program Management, Learning and Development. HR & Talent Management, Marketing and Operations.

Charles Lo

Discipline Head-Accounting, MPA Course Director

B.BUS(HONS) (UTS), PHD (USYD)

Dr Lo lectures Accounting subjects at the Wentworth Institute, and brings to the classroom wide industry experience in accounting and finance, including those from his time as a stockbroker before entering academia.

He is an academic with nearly 15 years of experience in the tertiary sector, having lectured in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at institutions including the University of Technology, Sydney, Insearch:UTS and the Australian Institute of Music.

“I have a passion for teaching. My aim when teaching is to ensure that students are not bogged down with technical industry jargon. I try to take complicated technical issues in accounting and explain them in a way that is easier to understand.

Courseware developer, Academic, Knowledge Management, Information Systems, and e-Commerce Consultant, Researcher, Software Engineer, and Test Analyst, are some of the hats I wore thus far.

Started as a software engineer/tester after completing M.Sc., in Computer Science in India. Driven by passion came to Australia for further education. Received M.Sc., Honours and PhD from University of Western Sydney.

Worked as an academic and developed curriculum at various universities such as University of Western Sydney, Central Queensland University and Federation University, higher education institutions such as Melbourne Institute of Technology, and Kent Institute, and Business colleges such as Parramatta college and Canterbury business college.
Although I run a small Information Systems consulting services business, I take pride in calling myself an academic where I strive to impart my experience as an international student and my knowledge to students. My research work revolved around Artificial intelligence and Knowledge management. Slowly moving towards the areas of curriculum development and student retention due to the nature of my work.

Jane Cameron has taught in the field of Design, Art and Film theory at WIN for the past 4 years. After graduating from Sydney University and later the University of Technology, Jane has for the past 20 years run her own design consultancy in Sydney, and has previously taught at Enmore Design Centre. Jane is passionate about her role at WIN.

Celine Adams

Celine Adams is a Certified Practising Accountant of Australia (CPA) and a lawyer. She has over 14 years of experience in the Australian tertiary education sector. She brings a wealth of experience to WIN not only on the basis of her current teaching experience but also on the basis of her approach to teaching and cultivation in her students of an appreciation of the importance of learning and understanding. Before joining WIN, she taught in both laws and accounting at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).

Alison Lee has a Masters of Business Administration(MBA) from UTS and has taught at the same university in the School of Management to postgraduate and undergraduate students for the past five years. Further, she has extensive senior management experience in the area of luxury goods. Alison has been teaching at WIN for the past year and is looking forward to teaching more students from diverse background in business studies. She acknowledges that sometimes it is difficult for students to adapt to their new environment as an international student but happily has seen the majority of the students flourish and achieve their goals.

Christopher grew up in and around Universities. Studied Production Performance and Directing at the Undergraduate level for 6 years. A Graduate of the BIM program and student of the Master’s program. With many years experience in the delivery of programs both at VET and Higher Education Level in Australia, Christopher now works with WIN higher education Academics Organisational staff, Students, WINSA and Alumni to ensure the delivery of a quality, industry-relevant education by providing Academic, Program and Wellbeing support to both staff and students throughout the year. He also works externally to provide continuous Academic and Program Education to the Public.
