The Bachelor of Business course provides students with a comprehensive foundation in the core concepts necessary to pursue a successful professional career in business, as well as the practical application of these concepts. Students have the option to take a broad course of study across the key areas of business practice, or to specialise in human resource management (HRM) or management.
Students study in small classes which use a range of contemporary teaching methods including the use of practical case studies, simulations and applied projects.
The HRM Major has met the criteria for course accreditation and is currently accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Accreditation is reviewed every three years by the AHRI National Accreditation Committee.
Students applying for this course can be assured that the quality of core units map onto the AHRI Model of Excellence for HR Practitioners and Academics, a recognised benchmark of HR best practice and standards.
