The Bachelor of Business course provides students with a comprehensive foundation in the core concepts necessary to pursue a successful professional career in business, as well as the practical application of these concepts. Students have the option to take a broad course of study across the key areas of business practice, or to specialise in human resource management (HRM) or management.

Students study in small classes which use a range of contemporary teaching methods including the use of practical case studies, simulations and applied projects.

The HRM Major has met the criteria for course accreditation and is currently accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Accreditation is reviewed every three years by the AHRI National Accreditation Committee.

Students applying for this course can be assured that the quality of core units map onto the AHRI Model of Excellence for HR Practitioners and Academics, a recognised benchmark of HR best practice and standards.

Program description

The WIN Bachelor of Business degree is a quality program for the start of a dynamic and exciting business career. It is a flexible business degree which offers a wide range of study opportunities and subject choices, allowing you to construct a program of study that best meets your interests and future work plans. You can choose to specialise in Human Resource Management or Management. Completion of this course prepares you for employment in local, national and government organisations. Elective subjects can be selected from a variety of disciplines including Interactive Media, Professional Accounting and Information Technology.

Entry requirements

Applications are assessed on previous studies and other academic qualifications and experience.

To satisfy the general entrance requirements for admission to a course, applicants must meet at least one of the following entry requirements:

  • A formal qualification considered equivalent to an Australian Year 12
  • An approved foundation studies program
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma
  • Completed [or partially completed] course from a university, college or other accredited tertiary institution
  • Completed [or partially completed] TAFE college course or other accredited
  • Post-secondary institution, including TAFE Tertiary Preparation Certificate


In addition, international students must be 18 years of age or over at the time that they commence the course for which they have applied.
