Associate Professor Dr Charles Lo is the Executive Dean and Director of Learning and Teaching, leading academic quality, governance and curriculum development across the Institute. His work focuses on student-centred education and strengthening scholarly and industry-aligned teaching practice.

Professor Bernard Wong

Dean of Information Technology

Professor Bernard Wong is an experienced academic, technologist, and governance leader with over thirty years in IT, consulting, and higher education. He has held CIO and CEO roles across industry and academic leadership roles at several higher education institutions. He is the current Dean of IT at Wentworth Institute of Higher Education, and serves as a Director and Company Secretary across corporate and not-for-profit sectors.

Associate Professor Sai K. Lakkaraju

Deputy Dean – IT

Associate Professor Sai K. Lakkaraju is a senior academic leader and information systems specialist with over 27 years of higher education teaching experience and 10 years in industry, including software development, courseware design, and IT consulting.

At Wentworth Institute of Higher Education (WIN), he has played a key role in designing, developing, and accrediting the Bachelor and Master of Information Technology programs. As Deputy Dean of IT, he provides academic leadership across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, overseeing curriculum innovation, multi-modal delivery, academic governance, quality assurance aligned with TEQSA standards, staff mentoring, and industry partnerships, while deputising for the Dean in governance and external forums.

Julieanne O’Donoghue

Director – Risk, Quality and Compliance.

Julieanne is the Director – Risk, Quality and Compliance at WIN Higher Education. She has 25 years of experience in various student administration areas at both private and public Higher Education providers including at the University of Technology Sydney, Torrens, SIBT and SISTC. Her university work experience covers academic integrity and academic misconduct, student academic progression and advice, academic services, graduations, and policy

Karen Audley

Director - Learning Quality, Compliance and Accreditation

Karen is the Director – Learning Quality, Compliance and Accreditation and has worked for WIN Higher Ed for over 5 years. Within this role, she is responsible for monitoring, managing, and improving teaching and learning quality for Higher Education, ensuring compliance with TEQSA requirements and the HESF and the accreditation of new and existing qualifications both with TEQSA and the relevant industry bodies. Karen is also actively engaged in scholarly activity regarding International Students and Academic Integrity.

Alison Lee

BBus Course Director

Alison Lee has a Masters of Business Administration(MBA) from UTS and has taught at the same university in the School of Management to postgraduate and undergraduate students for the past five years. Further, she has extensive senior management experience in the area of luxury goods. Alison has been teaching at WIN for the past year and is looking forward to teaching more students from diverse background in business studies. She acknowledges that sometimes it is difficult for students to adapt to their new environment as an international student but happily has seen the majority of the students flourish and achieve their goals.

Juneesh Kooran Kuriachan

Dr. Juneesh Kuriachan currently serves as the Head of Academics and Asst. Director of Information Technology at the Canberra Campus.

Dr. Kuriachan is a distinguished scholar and professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the fields of Information Technology, Journalism & Mass Communication, Digital media and Visual Communication. Holding a Ph.D. in Information Technology, he has also earned three master’s degrees— one in Information Technology, another in Journalism & Mass Communication, and in Animation — along with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication.

With a career spanning 18 years, Dr. Kuriachan has made significant contributions in both academia and industry. He served as a Lecturer at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Salalah, Oman, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape. Subsequently, he took on the position of Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator at Amity University in Noida, India, further showcasing his commitment to academic excellence.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kuriachan has been deeply involved in teaching a range of subjects, including Information Technology, Digital Media, and Journalism & Mass Communication. His passion for education is evident in his role as a curriculum developer, where he has undertaken the responsibility of crafting and updating course curricula, conducting curriculum reviews, and implementing revisions to meet the evolving needs of the industry and academia.

In addition to his commitment to education, Dr. Kuriachan has made significant strides as a researcher. His interdisciplinary research focuses on the convergence of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, social media, and digital media. He has presented and published 17 research projects, contributing valuable insights to the fields of information technology and media.

Christopher O’Neill

Christopher grew up in and around Universities. Studied Production Performance and Directing at the Undergraduate level for 6 years. A Graduate of the BIM program and student of the Master’s program. With many years experience in the delivery of programs both at VET and Higher Education Level in Australia, Christopher now works with WIN higher education Academics Organisational staff, Students, WINSA and Alumni to ensure the delivery of a quality, industry-relevant education by providing Academic, Program and Wellbeing support to both staff and students throughout the year. He also works externally to provide continuous Academic and Program Education to the Public.

Dennis Mortimer

External member- Academic

Dennis Mortimer has over thirty years’ experience in academic teaching, research and management including teaching in both Australia and overseas, as Head of School at the then the University of Western Sydney, and as President of the International Employment Relations Association (IERA) and the Pacific Employment Relations Association (PERA).

Cheang Khoo

External member- Academic

BSc, MChem and PhD (UNSW)

Cheang Khoo worked as an academic at Western Sydney University for 30 years where he conducted teaching and research. He has also consulted to industry and offered expert witness advice. He has extensive experience in course and curriculum development and curriculum mapping as well as ensuring course compliance with requirements of professional bodies. He has supervised over 30 postgraduate (honours, Masters and PhD) students and published (with coauthors) 45 scientific papers in high impact refereed journals which have been cited over 2000 times by other researchers. Eight of the papers were published with Wentworth Institute affiliation. He is also a reviewer for 6 different journals. Cheang Khoo received a teaching excellence award from WSU and an “Outstanding Reviewer” award from the International Journal of Molecular Science”. He is also an adjunct fellow of the National Institute of Complementary Medicine, the leading research centre for complementary medicine in Australia.

Luke Bozzetto

Industry Representative

Luke Bozzetto has 15 years experience in academic teaching and research, and 10 years in higher education leadership. He is the current vice-president of the Asia Pacific Engaged Research Association (APERA) and the Editorial Associate for the International Journal of Employment Studies (IJES). He has presented his research both nationally and internationally, and has publish in and reviewed for some of the most respected journals in the area of Astronomy & Astrophysics. Luke has experience in achieving successful ACS accreditations, and got the maximum 7 year accreditation approval from TEQSA for the Master of Information Technology he designed and developed.
