With many years experience in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Australia and abroad, Keri works with higher education academics and students at WIN to ensure the delivery of a quality, industry relevant education.

Alison Lee holds a Masters of Business Administration(MBA) from UTS and was accepted into the Doctoral program to research in the area of Strategic Human Resource Management. She is now the Director of Bachelor of Business here at Wentworth Institute and is also Head of Human Resource studies. Her past work experiences includes working at UTS and in the pedagogy of music and English. She has also worked extensively as a senior manager in the luxury goods industry and utilises her industry experience in her lectures. Alison has been at Wentworth Institute since 2015 and is excited to contribute to Wentworth’s growth into the future.

Ali is a PhD candidate with 11 years of expertise in Modeling, Simulation and Mechanical Engineering. With a rich blend of experience in Simulation and optimization, he has made significant contributions both locally and internationally.

Complementing his practical prowess, Ali holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Modeling and Simulation that accentuate his commitment to innovative and effective teaching methodologies.

Ali’s research interests are centered around Computational Fluid Dynamic, Modeling, Numerical Simulation, reflecting his dedication to enhancing the learning experience for students and educators alike.

Dr Wai Tak (Arthur) Hung attained his PhD in Statistics from Macquarie University. He has had more than four years work experience in Market Research. He has also been teaching Statistics and Mathematics subjects at different tertiary institutions for over ten years. He is experienced in statistical modelling as well as media campaign evaluations. Moreover, he is proficient in using various software such as R, SAS, SPSS, Minitab, and Excel.

Celine Adams is a Certified Practising Accountant of Australia (CPA) and a lawyer. She has over 14 years of experience in the Australian tertiary education sector. She brings a wealth of experience to WIN not only on the basis of her current teaching experience but also on the basis of her approach to teaching and cultivation in her students of an appreciation of the importance of learning and understanding. Before joining WIN, she taught in both laws and accounting at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).

With many years experience in the delivery of programs both at VET and Higher Education Level in Australia, Christopher now works with WIN higher education academics staff, students, WINSA and alumni to ensure the delivery of a quality, industry-relevant education by providing academic, program and wellbeing support to both staff and students throughout the year. Christopher also teaches in the Bachelor of Interactive Media program assisting students to develop industry relevant skills.

Dave Unsworth

Lecturer

Mr. Dave Unsworth is an Accounting Lecturer with 30 years of expertise in industry consulting and teaching. His extensive experience includes roles as CEO, COO, CMO, and CIOA, with significant contributions both locally and internationally, such as receiving Lloyd’s award for Robotics.

Dave holds multiple master’s degrees: an MBA in Management and Marketing, an MAcct in Finance and Accounting, an MIntBus in International Trade and Cross-Cultural Psychology, and a Master in Logistics from ITLS (Project Management and Transport Economics). His undergraduate degrees include a BAppSci Hons (1) in Computer Science and Statistics and a Higher Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering. He also holds a PMP and ACP, and is a Lifetime Member of BSG and IQA London, showcasing his commitment to innovative and effective teaching methodologies.

His research interests focus on Project Management and Agile Initiatives, reflecting his dedication to enhancing the learning experience for students and educators alike.

Dominic Cudmore is a practising lawyer based in Sydney’s inner-east, with extensive experience in both government and private sectors. From 2009 to 2011, he studied at the Institut d’études théologiques in Brussels.

His expertise includes property law, equity, NFP and charities law, NFP tax, employment law, human rights and discrimination, child protection, education law, governance, community law, cy près schemes, family provisions applications, professional standards, NFP mergers and acquisitions, legal training, pro bono practice, facilitation, and mediation.

Yiwei Feng is a seasoned professional and educator in Information Technology, currently serving as a lecturer at Win Education. With a rich academic background, he holds a Master of Information Technology and Systems from the University of Canberra, specializing in network technology. Yiwei is also AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP) certified, showcasing his expertise in cloud computing.

Throughout his career, Yiwei has demonstrated a strong commitment to both teaching and the practical application of IT. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Yiwei has actively participated in academic initiatives. Farhad Habibi is an accomplished professional with extensive expertise in both business and IT. His teaching career began in 2012, and he has since made significant contributions to research, including publishing in top-tier journals. Farhad is currently pursuing a PhD in Project Management at the University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia, and holds a master’s degree in Systems Optimization.

His academic interests lie at the intersection of business and technology. Farhad’s research covers a wide range of topics such as supply chain management, project management, decision support systems, IT integration, web design, software engineering, and database management. His Honours Thesis focused on the international political role of international sports. He is currently completing a Masters of Sports Management at the University of Technology Sydney.

Francis’ passion is in sport where he has coached and managed rugby for UNSW, the Queens University in Canada and the University of East Anglia in England. Currently Francis serves as a Rugby Mentor for the Play Rugby Australia foundation.

I am Himadri, a dedicated educator and soon-to-be PhD graduate from Australian National University (ANU). Since July 2023, I have been teaching at the WIN Institute, focusing on empowering and nurturing future professionals in their respective fields. Before this, I amassed over three years of experience as a teaching assistant at ANU, where I supported undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer network, security and related fields. My PhD research has centred on Machine Learning applications in the biomedical field, specifically for the detection and management of diabetes. Throughout my doctoral journey, I have published extensively in various reputed journals and at international conferences, contributing significant new insights into the integration of machine learning with clinical healthcare practices. This blend of teaching and research equips me with the unique ability to convey complex scientific concepts with ease and inspire students through real-world applications.

Dr. Juneesh Kuriachan currently serves as the Head of Academics and Asst. Director of Information Technology at the Canberra Campus.

Dr. Kuriachan is a distinguished scholar and professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the fields of Information Technology, Journalism & Mass Communication, Digital media and Visual Communication. Holding a Ph.D. in Information Technology, he has also earned three master’s degrees— one in Information Technology, another in Journalism & Mass Communication, and in Animation — along with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication.

With a career spanning 18 years, Dr. Kuriachan has made significant contributions in both academia and industry. He served as a Lecturer at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Salalah, Oman, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape. Subsequently, he took on the position of Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator at Amity University in Noida, India, further showcasing his commitment to academic excellence.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kuriachan has been deeply involved in teaching a range of subjects, including Information Technology, Digital Media, and Journalism & Mass Communication. His passion for education is evident in his role as a curriculum developer, where he has undertaken the responsibility of crafting and updating course curricula, conducting curriculum reviews, and implementing revisions to meet the evolving needs of the industry and academia.

In addition to his commitment to education, Dr. Kuriachan has made significant strides as a researcher. His interdisciplinary research focuses on the convergence of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, social media, and digital media. He has presented and published 17 research projects, contributing valuable insights to the fields of information technology and media.

Within this role, she is responsible for monitoring, managing, and improving teaching and learning quality for Higher Education, ensuring compliance with TEQSA requirements and the HESF and the accreditation of new and existing qualifications both with TEQSA and the relevant industry bodies. Karen is also actively engaged in scholarly activity regarding International Students and Academic Integrity.

A Business educator and researcher based in Canberra, Australia, with a Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales, Australia, Dr. Mehdi has taught for around twenty years at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He worked as an Analyst for approximately five years in the public sector of Australia in different federal departments. His blended knowledge from industry engagement and the academic arena enables him to bring in-class discussion from a practical point of view. He prefers to nurture theory with practice and make postgraduate classes more interactive and engaging. He teaches Accounting, Economics, International Trade, Corporate Financial Management, Financial Statement Analysis, Econometrics, and Contemporary Accounting Issues. Dr. Richard Li is a Higher Education Academy (HEA) Associate Fellow and technical art specialist. He completed his PhD at Griffith University in 2015, focusing on Immersive Interactive Technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Da-Yeh University and a Master of Applied Science in Animation from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST).

His research interests include Interaction Design (VR/AR/MR), Museum Studies, Digital Preservation, UI/UX Design, 3D Animation, Creative Industries, and 3D Printing. Dr. Li’s experience spans digital/physical conservation, multimedia design, web design, UI/UX design, app development, and teaching. Rosaline Babayan is a senior 3D Animator and Motion-Capture Specialist with over 10 years of local and international teaching experience. She has animated on TV series, video games, music videos, advertisements, 3D visualisations for museums and architectural projects.

In addition to her Animation qualifications she has completed Master of Education in Innovation and Change and Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching.

Her past research interests are focused on innovation of learning and teaching experiences for students and educators. This includes incorporation of innovative digital interventions, transforming physical and virtual learning spaces and designing Professional Development frameworks for educators to assist them with identification of their own needs in order to improve the quality of learning and teaching for higher education students.

He has developed curricula for prestigious institutions such as the University of Western Sydney, Central Queensland University, Melbourne Institute of Technology, Kent Institute, Parramatta College, and Canterbury Business College. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Management. Currently, Dr. Lakkaraju is focusing on curriculum development and student retention. Dr. Shehar Bano is a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at the Wentworth Institute of Higher Education, Canberra Campus, and a Ph.D. candidate at UNSW Canberra. Her research spans structural health monitoring, aerospace technologies, and renewable energy systems. She holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from HITEC University, Pakistan.

Dr. Bano has extensive teaching experience, including roles at the Australian National University and CUSSA Sichuan Normal University summer semesters, where she emphasizes hands-on learning and real-world problem-solving. Her research expertise lies in aerospace health monitoring using Lamb waves and ultrasonic techniques, as well as energy harvesting for sustainable applications.

A prolific researcher, Dr. Bano has published in top-tier journals such as Energy Conversion and Management, Applied Energy, Energy Technology, and IET Intelligent Transport Systems. She has also presented at international conferences, including the AIAA Aviation Conference, where she served as Chairperson for Systems and Materials in 2023.

Sven is an expert in the field of business and management, originally from a business background and later becoming the managing director of a national retail chain store. He has undertaken empirical research in ethics and critical thinking. He has delivered a number of papers at academic conferences around Australasia, Europe and Canada. He has a master’s degree in history from Macquarie University, a Graduate Diploma of Adult and Vocational Education from Sturt University and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Newcastle University.

He is a passionate, engaging and focused trainer and teacher. He particularly structures his teaching to provide students with skills in problem-solving, critical and strategic thinking by actively and frequently seeking out to implemented modern, engaging and effective teaching methods and activities.
