WIN CAMPUS RE-OPENING ON TUESDAYS - WEDNESDAYS DURING COVID-19

(FROM SEMESTER ONE 2022)

Dear Student

While we are aware that the NSW Government is easing restrictions as regards COVID-19, WIN Higher Education is also aware that as a business we have an obligation to ensure that the safety and wellbeing of students and staff are maintained.  The increasing number of cases of COVID-19 sub-variants is evidence that we cannot be complacent in relaxing safety mandates and need to continue with some COVID 19 protocols on campus.

Please note that the campus is considered an indoor setting that may allow transmission of COVID-19.

Wearing of Masks on Campus

Wearing of masks is not mandatory BUT highly recommended in order to protect your health as well as the health of your classmates, lecturers, and administrative staff.   Classrooms and other areas at WIN Higher Education building are considered an indoor setting.  Masks are available at the Level 1 front counter.

Vaccination requirements

Students and staff must be double vaccinated and are strongly encouraged to receive their booster shot unless you have medical exemption and are able to show evidence of vaccine exemption.  WIN Higher Education has a duty of care to all its students, staff, and stakeholders.   According to NSW Health, a fully vaccinated individual has greater protection against the virus preventing or minimising risk of severe illness as a result of COVID-19.

Other requirements

Handwashing, physical distancing, hand sanitiser and other safety measures are in place at WIN Higher Education campus.
